Chartwells: the reason for food poisoning

Oh my goodness gracious if I have to watch my friends spit out their food one more time I think I will barf. Why is it that Chartwells was so good, and then as soon as we bought it they started wrapping breaded turkey in tortillas and calling it food. I'm telling you, it's disgusting! I am packing for the rest of the year!!!!

Hey everyone. Not many of you have checked on my blog, but those of you that have probably noticed that I haven't been very good at keeping up with whats going on. This is why: school: SO many projects, musical rehearsals haven't started yet and I'm getting anxious, I finally have a column in the newspaper, dance is still going every monday and friday, and all I have on my mind right now is the fact that my best friend and I are fighting and volleyball tryouts are on tuesday. Boy oh boy, do I need a snow day!

we all know somwhere in the back of our minds that thanksgiving is all about being thankful for framily, friends, health, and life. But most of us tend to forget that and focus on the food. I have everything to be thankful for, but I also love thanksgiving day food. my favorite is stuffing. and cranberry sauce. and...and...and...ok, I love all of it! and who doesn't? Thanksgiving is a time for giving thanks, and I'm thankful that my grandma is such a good cook!

Barbies

I was recently watching T.V., and saw a commercial for the new BARBIES. at the end, the teenage girls promoting it asked the BARBIE, "where'd you get that?" I find that very degrading, being a teenage girl myself. I care about a lot more than clothes and dolls. And I'm smart enough to know that although a lot of girls my age do care about nothing but fashion, but I find that really sexist. Stupid people always follow the stereotypes. well, not to brag, but I'm not stupid. And I don't care where BARBIE gets her clothes.

The Dreaded BLOCK SCHEDULING

Today is a "B" day according to block scheduling, and if you ask me, I should have stayed in bed. I really do not like "b" days. I don't know if it was just MY schedule, or what, but all my good classes are on "A" days, which makes me hate coming to school on the "b" days. Maybe all block schedules are like this. who knows? If you HAVE block scheduling, you probably know what I'm talking about. What do you think about it? like it? no? remember, there's no posting, but think about it. Should block scheduling have been dropped? or does it make sense?

Today I am starting an added weblog to my website. You probably don't want to hear about my life, so this is pretty much based on my opinions. as you can probably tell by my site, I am very opinionated and have a lot to say. So, my first entry (this one) will be on an issue most people my age probably know about. This is Halloween. IN MY OPINION, there are many ways of looking at Halloween. It could be a time when demons come forth (I hope they don't,) It could be a time to dress up in funky costumes or skanky costumes, of just costumes in general, or it could be a time when you just get free candy. I don't like trick-or-treating, and while handing out the candy at my house, something interested me. About fifteen people came to the house in search of sweets, with absolutely no costume. Now, I don't think that they should be able to get candy in jeans and a t-shirt, but what was I supposed do? turn them away saying "come back with a costume?" I couldn't! it was Hallween! This weblog is not for you to put comments on, but to get you to think about certain issues. you don't have to agree with me, but you should at least have some sort of an idea about what you think on this. so talk to your friends. and if I am your friend, talk to me!
